The
sensitive element of CR Flow switches
is a paddle. Its movement is caused by the fluid passing
in the pipe, and it is transmitted to a high power microswitch
by means of a lever mechanism connected to the paddle
with a bellows. The set point may be adjusted by means
of a special adjustment screw connected to an antagonistic
spring. The standard equipment includes a threesegment
paddle suitable for installations from 1" to 3" pipes.
A forth paddle is provided to use the instrument with
greater diameters, or to increase its sensitivity. In
such cases, the length of the paddle must be shortened
according to the needs.
