Flow rate limiters limit the value of the
liquid delivery to a determined value (aggressive ones
are included). Its functioning is based on the variation
of the differential pressure. The flow increase tends
to increase the value of the differential pressure between
instrument inlet and outlet. That causes more pressure
on the shutter that, supported by an ORing functioning
as an elastic body, enters more inside the passage hole,
reducing the section. It results a delivery limitation
at the nominal value of the instrument.
