UM/UR
Flow switches are a compact paddle instrument
for liquid flow control. The moving liquid displaces
the stainless steel paddle housed inside the flow chamber.
As the pre-set value is reached, a magnet, linked to
the paddle, activates a microswitch through an antagonistic
magnet, housed in the electric head of the instrument
(UM type). That produces an electrical signal linked
to the set delivery value. Otherwise, the instruments
may be provided with a Reed electric contact (UR type).
The paddle is kept in place by an antagonistic spring,
which allows the vertical assembling of the flow switch
too. The instruments are provided with screwed female
connections (UR/UM MO..MI) or with a welding fitting
(UR/UM MO..MV) for a direct assembling in the pipe.
