USL
Level controls
are designed as standard units for lateral assembling.
Three types of instruments are available that meet various
use demands. USL MW type with microswitch contact and
Spansil float are used for industrial applications,
USL PM/FM type with Reed contact and body in polypropylene
or PVDF for o.e.m. applications, USL ML with microswitch
double contact and stainless steel float is suitable
for temperatures up to 180 °C. The functioning principle
is similar for all three types: the lifting of the float
magnetically activates the electric contact housed outside
the area interested by the liquid. The mechanic and
electric parts are physically separated, there are therefore
no retaining risks caused by ageing or defects of seals,
stuffing box or else.
